ACRISURE STADIUM is the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the University of Pittsburgh Panthers Football Team. Opened in 2001, the renowned venue is a monument to Western Pennsylvania’s rich football tradition and loyal fans. The diverse state-of-the-art facility can be configured to accommodate events of all sizes.
ACRISURE STADIUM has played host to thousands of sporting events (NFL, NCAA Football, NHL Winter Classic), concerts (The Rolling Stones, Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift, U2, Kenny Chesney), Men’s and Women’s Soccer, and private events (weddings, banquets, corporate events). Over 2,000 employees operate the 68,400-seat stadium on a given gameday, and its events contribute over $200 million yearly in direct spending to the region.
ACRISURE STADIUM sits in the heart of Pittsburgh on the banks of the North Shore, featuring breathtaking views of the Downtown City skyline. It has become the backdrop of several movies, television programs, and video shoots due to its unique design and location. The stadium was designed with the City of Pittsburgh’s history of steel production in mind and sits feet from where the historic Three Rivers Stadium once stood.
